Here's a little bit about LVDC and what we'll be up to on our travels back to Musoma,Tanzania.
Lake Victoria Disability Centre (LVDC) was founded in 2002 by Dennis Maina. In the 15 years LVDC has been running Dennis and his wonderful team have accomplished so much. My mum Katherine and I visited Musoma, Tanzania back in 2014 and are going back this summer. We've been keeping in touch with LVDC and LVDC (Scotland) and are so excited to see all the progress that has been made in the three years we have been away. More buildings are up including the Dental Clinic, the Orthopaedic Workshop and we've recently had the delivery of our very own 3D printer to create prosthetic limbs.
I'm looking forward to keeping you all up to date with everything that we'll be doing with another blog!
